Cutter Reel Refurbishment

DM&E has been repairing and modifying cutter reels for domestic and foreign
fiber producers for over fifteen years. Cutter reels considered beyond
repair often can be refurbished to like-new condition and give many more
years of service.

- Replace bent, broken, and missing blade support pins.
- Straighten bent, warped, and damaged reels.
- Replace broken or damaged phenolic covers, hubs, and blade retainers.

DM&E offers complete cutter rebuild services for your existing cutter.
Regardless of make, your cutter will be completely disassembled. Each piece
will be inspected. A complete inventory of the required work will be
submitted for approval prior to any work beginning. All working parts will be
replaced and every component will be checked to assure that it will
contribute to maximum quality tow cutting.
DM&E retrofit parts can be added at the same time to return to you a virtual
new cutter with the latest features and options.
